Sitting on a pair of black metal legs, this dining room table features bookmatched black walnut crotch slabs that are loaded with figure and character. Black resin was used to fill two empty spaces and all the other cracks/voids. Live edge on both sides of the table. The live edge is especially interesting around the over-grown branch "nubs" where the tree grew around itself to close off a branch that had been pruned. Steel C-channels are inlayed into the bottom of the table to ensure the tabletop stays flat over the years.
